             “How come that some places in the world can’t do without chairs
           when we have never needed them?”
           This is the question young Karma from the Buddhist Kingdom of Bhutan in
           the Himalayas asks himself, after he saw a chair in his school for the first
           time in his life when he was 10. This was the beginning of a long conflict
           with Karma’s father because Karma wanted to become a modern chairmaker.
           Karma’s father is teaching young monks in the temple sitting on a cushion.
           Eight years later Karma brings home to his father from the capital – a chair…
